selects all the text in a box (useful for deleting), and copies the text to the clipboard, if your browser supports that. You can then cut & paste the results into your document. You can also do the same in any grey box, if you want to target only certain types of escaped text. Alternative representations will appear in all the other boxes. In binary, the prefix "0b" is added, in octal, the prefix "o" is added, and in hexadecimal, the prefix "0x" is added.Type or paste text in the green box and click on the Convert button above it. The other option lets you add a prefix in front of bytes. Binary values get padded to eight bits, octal values to three symbols, and hex values to two symbols. One of them lets you improve the appearance of bytes by padding short values with zeros to achieve a full byte length. There are two more useful features that we have added.
